Q: First, tell us a little about yourself–where you live, your family, how long you’ve been at DE, and what you did before coming here.
A: I live in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. I moved here as a kid – it was my dad’s last duty station before retiring from the Navy. I have two younger sisters and a younger brother who all live in Colorado. I also have a nine year old niece who I love spending time with. I own two dogs, both Sheepadoodles (Old English Sheepdog/Poodle). I studied Computer Science at Benedictine College and then worked in the IT department at a large corporation for several years. I have been with DE since May of 2022 and it has been a huge blessing!
Q: What do you love most about working at DE?
A: What I love most about working at DE is my co-workers. I am so grateful to work with an amazing group of people that love the Lord and use their talents to help spread the Gospel.
Q: Who is your favorite saint and why?
A: My favorite saint is Saint Therese of Lisieux. After reading Story of a Soul in college, I really gained an appreciation for her “Little Way” and child-like faith.
Q: If you could go anywhere for a 10 day vacation, where would you go?
A: My top vacation spots are visiting my grandparents in Wisconsin and visiting my parents in Washington, D.C., so I would definitely choose one of those destinations!
Q: What are you currently reading?
A: I am currently reading a Pope Benedict XVI collection, God Is Ever New: Meditations on Life, Love, and Freedom.
Q: Would you rather have a personal maid or a personal chef?
A: I would rather have a personal maid. I don’t mind cooking and especially enjoy making crockpot meals.
Q: What’s your most prized possession and why?
A: My prized possessions are woodworking and crochet items made by my grandparents. It means a lot that they spent so much time hand crafting those gifts.
